libjpeg62-dbg software package provides Development files for the IJG JPEG library (version 6.2), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjpeg62-dbg
libjpeg62-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjpeg62-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjpeg62-dbg *
You will get with libjpeg62-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
